Inspection and warranty — your questions
What does the 120-point inspection actually cover?
Four groups: body (paint depth on every panel, chassis alignment, weld and repair marks, flood and fire check), mechanical (compression, gearbox under load, suspension, brakes, tyre date codes), electrical (full OBD fault scan, battery and alternator load, driver assistance, air-conditioning) and paperwork (mileage verification, service book continuity, ownership, outstanding loan, claim history).
Do you disclose accident repairs?
Always, in writing, before you commit. Paint depth is gauged on every panel and any repaired area is marked on the report. A car with a repaired wing is not a problem; a car with a repaired wing you were not told about is.
Is there a warranty on a used car?
Every unit carries a 12-month powertrain warranty covering engine and gearbox, transferable once if you sell the car on. Extended cover to 24 months is available on vehicles under seven years old.
Can I see the inspection report before I buy?
Yes. Ask for it at any point — before a viewing, during, or before you pay a deposit. It lists the points the car passed, the points it failed, and what we did about the ones we fixed.
Ask to see a report.
Pick any car on the floor and we'll send you its inspection sheet before you visit. No deposit, no commitment.
